The NCAA spring live period is officially here. With the NCAA putting in even more restrictions to hinder high school players, D-1 coaches were only permitted to come out one weekend the entire spring to watch players on the travel ball circuit. The result, as one could guess, is teams filling out their rosters in the transfer portal while a plethora of talented unsigned seniors remain on the board. That should change nationally after this weekend and we took in the best that New Balance had to offer in their P32 League.
Held at the gorgeous Children's Health StarCenter Northlake in Dallas, the P32 brought all of its finest AAU teams and in a unique theory, also hosted the Revorecruit JUCO Showcase as part of the P32 experience. Former NBA Champion/McDonald's All American Quinn Cook was in the building supporting DC Assault, NBA champ Marreese Speights was coaching Team Speights, Jeff McInnis was running the show for Team Charlotte, and NBA all-stars Jamal Murray and Darius Garland were on the bench with their respective teams. Over 100 D-1 programs were in the building throughout the weekend and no shortage scholarships were earned throughout.
Here are the top overall performers that we saw from the New Balance P32 live session in Dallas:

K'majay Jenkins, 6'6, SF, SKG Legacy 17U, 2028
Playing up on the 17U for the Southern Kings, K'majay Jenkins showed a totally different skill set than we saw during the high school season at Moravian Prep and DME Academy. Playing strictly on the perimeter, Jenkins was a dynamic slasher who had a number of creative finishes at the rim and was constantly in attack mode. Alabama, Kansas, and Baylor were all court side to watch the versatile forward and he certainly produced playing up at the 17U level.
Marquis Newson, 6'5, SG/SF, Max Levels Elite Philly 17U, 2027
An absolutely relentless swingman, Marqius Newson put pressure on the defense any time that he had the rock with his fearless style of play. The Philly product showed great end to end speed, was an elite finisher in traffic, and showed a reliable mid-range jumper off the bounce. Newson is still flying a bit under the radar nationally, but that hasn't stopped schools such as Arizona State, Penn State, West Virginia, and St. Joe's from recruiting the swingman.
Sekhou Cisse, 6'9, PF/C, Gateway Knights 17U, 2027
The most dominant interior player at the P32, Sekhou Cisse punished opposing big men with his physicality, consistent productivity, and relentless motor. The long armed senior posted incredibly hard on the block, showed off nimble footwork, and was comfortable hitting jumpers from mid-range. Cisse's intensity and sheer strength give him the physical makeup of someone who is ready to step to play a role in the paint at the high major D-1 level
Brock Bonner, 6'6, SF, Team Speights 17U, 2027
An intriguing lefty, Brock Bonner showed the upside that has made him one to watch at the New Balance P32. He is near impossible to stop once he gets downhill going left, shoots it well enough from the perimeter to keep you honest. The big time athlete already holds a Florida State offer and has all the physical tools that high major programs look for out of a swingman.
#ClipperNation playmaker and 2 time all-star Darius Garland has been in the gym all weekend long in Dallas bringing that energy for Garland Elite at @NewBalanceHoops #P32. Was joy to watch himself during AAU days and carrying it over to the next generation of hoopers. pic.twitter.com/90UeXEtLKn

Christopher Hunt Jr., 6'1, PG, Max Levels Elite 17U, 2027
Playing in his own city, "Deuce" Hunt brought an infectious amount of energy with his play at P32. Possessing elite end to end speed, Hunt got the rock up the floor in a hurry, converted creatively at the rack, and constantly put pressure on the defense. Holding a dozen D1 offers, Deuce has proved that he's in the upper echelon of lead guards that P32 has to offer.
Jalen Brown, 6'5, SG, Midwest Renegades 17U, 2027
One of the more heralded players in the P32, Jalen Brown had the likes of Kansas, Baylor, and Alabama sitting court side to watch him throughout the weekend. The Milwaukee product fit the prototype of that you look for out of a scoring guard in today's game with length, the ability to create for others, and the versatility to impact the game in a variety of ways. When his jumper is going, there aren't many guard in the P32 who can touch Jalen Brown, as seen with the likes of Nebraska, Georgetown, Indiana, Wisconsin, and a host of others battling for him at the next level.
