With the NCAA July live period upon us, it has been a logistical mess for D-I coaches to coordinate where to go. There are now five shoe circuits all running competing events (Nike, Puma, Adidas, Under Armour, and New Balance) at the same time, and colleges are only allowed to have four coaches in the gym at once, so someone gets left out. Rather than chasing all of the players you'd like to observe around to different gyms, New Balance made things a one-stop shop with its Elite 75.
The brainchild of P32 Director Josh Woodson and his staff, the Elite 75 brought together the 75 best prospects from the New Balance P32 League for a two-day event prior to AAU play during the live period. This allowed coaches and NBA scouts alike to get in and get a glimpse of the best that New Balance has to offer prior to jetting around the country to cross off their boxes. The high level of competition provided a different evaluation atmosphere that proved priceless when looking at P32 prospects.
Having already looked at the fab five prospects from the class of 2029 as well as the best juniors are some of the rising junior standouts from the 2028 class who excelled at the New Balance P32 Elite 75, we have moved on to the class of 2027. Players such as K'Majay Jenkins, Tristan Franklin, Gassim Toure, and Jaeden Udean were already covered in depth, so here's a deeper look at some of the under the radar prospects that we haven't hit from the New Balance P32 Elite 75:
Milton Phinnessee, 6’11, PF/C, The Factory 17U, 2027
Arguably the most agile big man that the P32 has to offer, Milton Phinnessee moves around the floor like a player a foot smaller. The agile big man covers a ton of ground defending on the perimeter, makes plays with his ridiculous wingspan, and showed that he’s comfortable playing facing the basket offensively. While he still certainly needs to get stronger, the package of potential and mobility that Phinnessee owns have made him a hot commodity amongst colleges.
Nick Andreotti, 6’2, PG/SG, Jaylen Wells Elite 17U, 2027
Someone I hadn’t seen leading into the event, NIck Andreotti immediately stood out as one of the better flame throwers in the Elite 75. He was able to create separation to get to his shot off the dribble, relocated to open areas, and had a number of crafty finishes at the rim. The Folsom (Calif.) product has been producing with Jaylen Wells Elite (had 39 point outing), showing that he's not just a guy who shows out in camp settings.

Nick Andreotti and Ian Desai delivered when it mattered most, leading JW Elite into the next round at the P32 League Finals.
Andreotti finished with 33 points, while Desai added 26, combining for 59 points in a statement performance.

Patrese Feamster, 6’4, SG, Max Levels Elite Philly 17U, 2027
Constantly producing, Patrese Feamster is the type of guard that you love to have in today's game. The combo guard can slide over as a secondary ball handler, really shoots it well off the bounce, and makes outstanding reads in pick and roll play. Feamster is heading to The Perkiomen School for his final campaign and has picked up a handful of D-1 offers with his killer play these past two weeks.
DeAndre Carr-Short, 6’6, SF/PF, Max Levels Elite Philly 17U, 2027
While naturally a small forward, DeAndre Carr-Short played virtually every position at times for MLE Philly with his immense versatility. The lockdown defender is elite in transition, has a motor that doesn't stop, and literally guarded all five spots at times. The Cincinnati product definitely showed that he's going to be a sleeper to watch in Ohio throughout this senior season at Aiken.
Garang Garang, PF, Hustle Prep 17U, 2027
A rapidly improving forward, Garang Garang has made huge strides since his season ended at St. Bernard’s (Calif.). The lanky senior played with a motor on both ends, created a number of deflections, and showed the ability to step out to the three point line. Garang has all of the tools and raw skills to be a really nice sleeper out of Los Angeles.
Bilal Robinson, 6’6, SF, Team Battle Tested 16U, 2028
A swingman with size, Bilal Robinson helped himself just as much as any 2028 at the Elite 75. The smooth swingman shot the lights out from the corners, played with a motor, and showed that he's an above the rim finisher in transition. Recently picking up an offer from LaSalle, the Jersey product definitely has all of the tools to reach even higher levels.
James Augustine, 6’7, PF, SKG Legacy 17U, 2027
There may have not been a player with a higher motor at the Elite 75 than James Augustine. The rangy forward flipped the dynamic with his athleticism, got every 50/50 ball with his relentless motor, and showed potential defensively with his ability to guard any position. While his offensive skillset needs refinement, there are a number of intangibles that Augustine possesses that make him one to track.
