Pangos is back in Miami. Founder Dinos Trigonis has been bringing elite-level independent basketball to Miami for years now, but switched things up for 2026. Typically running The Fantastic 40 grassroots tournament, Trigonis opted for an individual event to serve as a primer for the prestigious NBA-certified Pangos All-American Camp in Vegas (May 31-June 2), and the talent followed.
Held at five-time FHSAA state champion Miami Christian, the 2026 Pangos All-American Preview East brought size, length, and a number of new names poised to emerge nationally. The one-day event featured four extremely competitive games, culminating in the Cream of the Crop Top 20 Game.

The event started and ended with the dominant play of 6'11" Lewis Uvwo of FAB 50 power Prolific Prep (Southwest Ranches, Fla.). The camp MVP looked the part of a five-star prospect, and his level of production reflected that. However, Uvwo wasn't the only one who stood out, given the abundance of length and size that the event had to offer, not to mention solid defensive energy.
Having already taken a look at the event's top overall performers as well as the top underclassmen, here's a look at some of the rising senior sleepers that we saw at the Pangos All-American Preview:

Senior Sleepers to Watch:
Miguel Orbe, 6'3", SG, Miami Country Day (FL) 2027
The son of former NBA first-round pick and 3-point champion Daequan Cook is following in his father's footsteps as an elite shooter. Miguel Orbe showed off incredible range with his pull-up jumper, utilized hang dribbles to get into his shot, and was incredibly confident letting it fly.
Orbe has the shooting mechanics and shot-making ability to be one of the better shooters in the Under Armour Association with SOH Elite.
Kyle Blair, 6'10", C, First Academy (FL), 2027
One of the more athletic big men that the event had to offer, Kyle Blair, is just scratching the surface of the player that he can be. Blair ran the floor well, was a constant lob threat, and was a presence at the rim throughout the Pangos All-American Preview.
Already holding a number of D-1 offers, Blair is one to watch with SOH Elite in the Under Armour Association.
Preston Echols, 6'6", SF, Prolific Prep (FL), 2027
A wing with size, Preston Echols went to work for Prolific Prep Florida this season and showed that he belonged at the Pangos All-American Preview. The swingman was a great cutter, hit open threes with his feet set, and made his presence felt on the offensive glass.
Holding offers from the likes of Old Dominion, Kennesaw State, and Jacksonville, Echols will be adding plenty more running with AE5 on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit.
Rowan Hoffman, 6'8", SF/PF, Phillips Exeter Academy (NH), 2027
One of the best stretch bigs that the event had to offer, Rowan Hoffman, showed that he's going to be able to make an impact in the Northeast next year at Phillips Exeter. He was a lights-out shooter with his feet set, played with a motor on both ends of the floor, and showed that he could hold his own against bigs with more size and length.
Hoffman's high IQ on the floor, academics, and ability to shoot the ball should put him on Ivy League programs' radar.
Joost West, 6'2", PG, Divine Savior Academy (FL), 2027
A product of Nicaragua, Joost West was one of the headier lead guards that we saw over the weekend in Miami. He was an elite passer in transition, played the game at his own pace, and scored well enough to maintain his presence as a threat.
Having already played against pros with the Nicaraguan Senior National Team in FIBA play, West's experience and polished play should allow him to contribute to a D-1 team right away.
