Buckle up WNBA fans, this may be the time to invest in Caitlin Clark winning her first MVP award.
On July 19, the odds at FanDuel had the third-year megastar listed at +1300 to win the honor, while reigning MVP A'ja Wilson was listed at -360.
As of Monday, Wilson's odds have shortened to -475, while Clark's have moved to +1400. In between the two is rookie Olivia Miles (+650), who was +1000 just two weeks ago.
Paige Bueckers has gone from the second choice, at +700, to fourth on the list at +2000, while Kelsey Mitchell has stormed into the picture at +10000, along with Breanna Stewart, whose odds plummeted from +3500.
But it's Clark who is the most intriguing right now, as she's been on an absolute tear since July 17, and doesn't appear ready to slow down.
The 24-year-old All-Star put up 19.7 points and 7.7 assists through her first 20 games, but has flipped the script and has registered 27.7 points and 9.2 assists over her last six games.
Indiana heads into the week sitting in sixth place, but could creep into the top four, as only 1.5 games separate the second- and third-place teams from the fourth-, fifth- and sixth-place teams.
The Fever have 14 games left on their schedule, including six in Indianapolis, where Clark has posted 24.0 points per game at home.
And while she is averaging 18.6 points away from home this season, the remaining road games are twice in Chicago and Toronto, and once in Atlanta, Dallas, New York and Minnesota. And Clark is averaging 20.8 points per game against those teams this season, and still hasn't faced the expansion Tempo, who rank second-to-last in scoring defense (93.7).

Milestone Moments
Last month, Clark earned her fifth Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors after scoring a combined 75 points during that week, the second-most scored by any player in the conference, and the fourth-most points scored by a WNBA player during that span.
Igniting Clark's run was a franchise-record 45-point game against the Seattle Storm on July 17. She also became the first player in league history to score 40 or more points and dish 10 or more assists. Since then, Clark has turned in three double-doubles, bringing her career tally to 27 overall.
Her 25 point-assist double-doubles are three shy of legendary Sue Bird's collection for third-most in WNBA history.
Clark, who finished fourth in MVP voting her rookie season, has also become the fastest player to reach 200 career 3-pointers made, when she accomplished the feat in 74 games, surpassing the league’s previous record of 81 games held by Katie Smith.
Clark is currently fifth all-time in Indiana history for 3-pointers made with 219 across her career, recently passing Tully Bevilaqua (203), while approaching current Fever assistant coach Briann January (242). Mitchell holds the all-time franchise record with 757 treys.
Dynamic Duo
Despite dropping an eight-point decision in Minnesota on Sunday, the Fever still boast what might be the most dangerous backcourt duo in the WNBA.
Clark and Mitchell have been nearly unstoppable the last six games. The two have combined to average 57 points per game. For the season, Mitchell leads all guards with 24.0 PPG, with Clark in third with 21.5 PPG.
The closest backcourt duo to Clark and Mitchell, scoring-wise, would be the newly formed tandem in Phoenix with Kelsey Plum (23.9 PPG) and Kahleah Copper (20.9 PPG).
Plum, though, has been sidelined with an injury for more than a month and has yet to play a game with the Mercury, leaving her connection with her new teammates a mystery.
Toronto's Marina Mabrey (20.9) and Brittney Sykes (20.1) might have had a case, but Sykes has been out for nearly two months. Minnesota's Miles (19.7 in 29 games) and Kayla McBride (17.8 in 31 games) are the closest to Clark and Mitchell.
Mitchell, who wasn't even listed as an MVP candidate at FanDuel on July 19, is in sole possession of the second-longest 20-plus point scoring streak in WNBA history. The longest streak is held by Wilson, at 20 games, across two seasons.
And while Mitchell's offensive consistency is quite evident, Clark has been a catalyst in facilitating things.
Clark has assisted on 20 of Mitchell's 64 made field goals during the six-game outburst.
Considering Indiana's recent run, along with Clark's surge, this might be the right time to invest in what appears to be a value price with arguably the most dangerous offensive weapon in the league.
