WNBA fans can finally talk about playoffs.
The league will tip off its 30th postseason this week, with first round action tipping off on Sunday afternoon and going into the evening. Seven squads are chasing the Las Vegas Aces, winners of three of the last four titles, for WNBA championship glory and there are no shortage of sterling suitors. Vegas is seeded third on the 2026 bracket and it set to face No. 6 Indiana in a best-of-three opening round.
This is the second season where the league will wrap things up with a best-of-seven showdown in the WNBA Finals, though it remains to be seen whether a team will be able to make use of it this time around: Las Vegas made quick work of the Phoenix Mercury in the debut edition last fall, securing the first sweep of the championship final since the Seattle Storm pulled off the feat in 2020.
