Fan voting for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game begins Thursday, allowing supporters 17 days to choose the starters as the league's top players convene in Chicago this summer.
Voting opens at 2 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 11, and continues until 11:59 p.m. ET on Saturday, June 27, for 17 days. The All-Star Game is set for Saturday, July 25, at the United Center and will be broadcast on ABC at 8:30 p.m. ET.

How to Vote and When
Fans must first create a free WNBA ID to vote. Each account then receives one ballot daily on WNBA.com or the WNBA App. A ballot can include 1 to 10 players, with options for up to four guards and six frontcourt players from either conference.
The league also established three "2-for-1" days—June 12, 17, and 24. Each ballot counts double from midnight to 11:59 p.m. ET on those special days.
Only players on current team rosters are eligible. Developmental players cannot be selected.
Fans who vote are entered for a chance to win a trip for two to All-Star weekend in Chicago, including tickets to the skills events on July 24 and the game the next night.
How the Starters and Reserves Are Chosen
The starters are set by a weighted vote. Fans account for 50% of the result, while current players and a media panel each carry 25%. Players and media members fill out ballots featuring four guards and six frontcourt players.
Within each of the three groups, players are ranked by position, and those ranks are averaged into a weighted score. The four guards and six frontcourt players with the best scores earn starting spots, with fan voting breaking any ties.
The league's 15 head coaches then select the 12 reserves, voting for three guards, five frontcourt players, and four others at any position. Coaches cannot vote for their own players. The two All-Star head coaches will be the ones leading the teams with the best records after games on July 10.
The WNBA said additional details on how the rosters will be built, along with announcement dates for the starters and reserves, will come later.
What Last Year's Vote Showed
The fan vote is only part of the equation, as 2025 made clear. Caitlin Clark set a single-season fan-vote record with 1,293,526 votes. However, Paige Bueckers edged her for the top guard score once the players' and media ballots were folded in. Clark and Napheesa Collier, the top two vote-getters, were named captains.
In addition to fan voting being the most influential factor in All-Star selections, players and media continue to influence the decision about who starts.
