This weekend at ComplexCon, thousands of retailers had the opportunity to showcase what their brand and culture had to offer. Or in this case, let everybody know what the f*ck they've been up to. And that brings us to what Nike had in store this past weekend at ComplexCon.
Last week Nike introduced the Special Field AF1 via the internet. And this past weekend Nike introduced the SP AF1 via ComplexCon. Trust, introducing their newest lifestyle sneaker through ComplexCon was definitely the way to go. With the evolution of the game in mind, the Air Force 1 has transformed as well. The latest in this lineage, the Special Field Air Force 1, which incorporates premium full grain leather, rip stop ballistic nylon and new, interwoven and adjustable ankle straps.
Nike had set up a booth that was nearly the size of a standard basketball court. One half featured a full blown shopping experience. With new products from the Special Field line available to the public, Nike made sure everybody had the chance to pickup some new gear. The other half of the court played host to a half court hoop set up. Where attendees of ComplexCon had the opportunity to play F-O-R-C-E (or H-O-R-S-E) for a chance to win some gear. Big Baby D.R.A.M., Paul Rodriguez, and of course D'Angelo Russell showed face in support of the new Special Field lineup.
