Patrick Baldwin Jr. is the most talked about incoming freshman in Chicago-area high school basketball.
The son of Northwestern assistant coach and former star Patrick Baldwin, young Patrick Jr will attend Loyola Academy in nearby Wilmette, IL in the Class of 2021.
We caught 6'5, 14 year old Patrick Baldwin's debut at the annual Riverside-Brookfield Summer Shootout which features the top 40 High school basketball teams from Chicago and a few from beyond.
Loyola had an up and down first day, but won out on day 2, finishing in fourth place overall. Patrick Baldwin showed his sweet shooting stroke and deep range throughout the tournament.
Keep in mind Patrick just graduated 8th grade and most of his teammates and opponents are going into their senior and junior years of High School.
