“He’ll play as much as he can handle,” Coach Otis Smith said of Tony Mitchell getting assigned to the Grand Rapids Drive . “You got to to expect he may pick up a couple quick (fouls), and we have a full rotation, but we’ll have him out there and see how long he can go effectively.”
The high flying Tony Mitchell was pretty effective scoring 12 points, grabbing 12 rebound and throwing down some sick dunks in 30 minutes of action against the LA Defenders.
“This was a great atmosphere,” Mitchell said. “Great fans and a great arena. A-plus all the way.”
His teammate Willis Reed also got into the dunking fun when he threw down this 360.
