I’ve known about the Plus500 brand as they offer a range of trading services, but they’ve recently ventured into the world of P2P prediction trading. Their prediction markets range from sports and crypto, to financials and even entertainment.

With that in mind, I’ve created the below Plus500 review to satisfy my curiosity. If you read on, I’ll explain exactly how their peer-2-peer prediction exchange works, the legitimacy of the brand, and what it offers in terms of prediction markets. I’ll then finish by giving my overall impressions of the platform’s customer support, security, and possible bonuses or promotions.

What is Plus500? Getting to know the brand and exchange

First up, I had to make sure that the P2P prediction exchange section of the site was legit, so like I did in my Webull review, I looked for things like regulatory compliance, support options, and security features at Plus500.

Is Plus500 legit?

As I mentioned above, I was already aware about Plus500, so I was pretty confident they were legit. BUT, I did my due diligence and found that they are regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and are also a member of the National Futures Association (NFA ID number 0001398).

This basically means that they can legally offer their trading services in the US. On top of that, I found info on their parent company which is Plus500US Financial Services LLC, which is in turn a subsidiary of Plus500US Inc.

CFTC - Commodity Futures Trading Commission
NFA - National Futures Association (USA)

Trading in futures involves the risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor.

Customer support availability

For support, I like that they have a simple 3-step explanation of how prediction trading works at Plus500 - this is useful for those new to this industry. If you need more in-depth help though, there should be a live chat icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the site.

This is only available once you’ve registered a Plus500 account though. Regardless, I tested it on a few different occasions once I had made my account, and the average response time was within 5 minutes. The human support reps were polite and looked to be knowledgeable about the prediction trading setup - they answered my questions fully and I was satisfied with the service.

Accepted payment methods

Similar to my Meta Arena review, I found that Plus500 accepts a decent collection of payment methods. Just be aware though that you might be able to see different options based on your state. I mainly made deposits using Google Pay, but I also saw PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, and Apple Pay.

There are no deposit processing fees, BUT, they do charge a 1.75% withdrawal processing fee regardless of the payment methods you use. This is pretty steep, and it’s something you will need to factor into your trading calculations so that you remain profitable. Despite the withdrawal fee, my payments were always processed within 24 hours max, and oftentimes I got my funds instantly.

Security and customer protections

When I signed up with Plus500, I noticed their robust verification process which can include email and/or SMS checks during the initial registration form, plus a full KYC check if you want to unlock all of the site’s features. This gave me peace of mind and it shows that they have anti-fraud measures in place.

The site also has basic security measures which I expect like SSL encryption. I was pretty impressed with the documentation too - I didn’t read it all of course, but they’ve got pages for their accessibility statement, privacy policy, Firm disclosure, Risk Disclosure, and general terms and agreements.

How does Plus500 work?

In my ADI Predictstreet review, I was impressed with the diversity of their prediction markets, but I believe that Plus500 goes two steps further and has an immense collection, plus pretty decent trade volume.

Plus500 prediction markets I can trade on

In terms of prediction categories, you’ve got the following:

  • Sports.
  • Science & Technology.
  • Politics.
  • Mentions.
  • Financials.
  • Entertainment.
  • Elections.
  • Economics.
  • Crypto.
  • Companies.
  • Commodities.
  • Climate and Weather.

This covers all of the main prediction types I like to see, and they have loads of sub categories within each one. To give you an idea of the types of predictions you can trade, I’ve listed some live examples I took from the site when I made this Plus500 review:

Plus500 PredictionYesNoVolume
Silver price on July 20th, 2026 (above $55)92c9c$29k
Will Bitcoin be above $200k by 2027?4c97c$6.2 million
Top US Netflix show this week? (Little House on the Prairie)10c91c$761k
LeBron James’ next team? (Miami Heat)47c54c$165 million
Trump Truth Social posts this week (180-199)27c74c$55k

Sports predictions are not available in all locations.

There’s decent trade volume for most markets

The trade volume was also incredibly impressive for most markets, and I never had any liquidity problems. Some more niche predictions might have a wait time for your orders to be fulfilled, but overall, I had a positive experience here. For trading fees, there’s a flat $0.01 commission for prediction market contracts when you buy them.

How did I find the usability at Plus500?

With my Gemini Predictions review, I thought the desktop website was outstanding, and while Plus500 can’t quite fully compare to that, I was overall impressed with the desktop site and the two mobile apps.

The desktop website is incredibly professional

I’m a big fan of professionally looking websites that prioritize usability and this is exactly what Plus500 does. The site looks awesome - it’s got a simple, clean design with a blue and white color scheme that makes for excellent text readability.

There’s a simple left-hand menu with all the prediction categories, and I think they’ve done a great job on how they display the individual predictions - you get clear event contract pricing information, implied percentages for the predictions, and trade volume indicators. The only real thing they could improve on is the lack of any price trend graphs or additional info for the individual predictions.

I love the two downloadable mobile apps

Now, I already knew that Plus500 had mobile apps - it’s been a cornerstone of their offering for a while now, but I checked them out anyway to see how the prediction trading worked. To start, I wanted to see what other people were saying, so I looked at the store reviews:

  • App Store - 4.7 star rating from over 10,000 reviews.
  • Play Store - 4.4 star rating from 125,000 reviews.

This is pretty positive! That’s some of the best ratings on the stores for prediction trading apps and the comments are generally favorable. I downloaded the Android version myself as I don’t own an iPhone, and I was pleased with the trading experience. You can access all of their different products from the app including the P2P prediction trading, and I like the smoothness of the app, and the simplicity of the prediction setup.

Did Plus500 give me any promotions or bonuses?

If you’re specifically looking into a Plus500 bonus review, I think you’d be a bit letdown. I didn’t find any promotions or bonuses for the prediction exchange part of the site. This was pretty disappointing, but not altogether unexpected. From my experience with US prediction trading exchanges, promotions are not a common feature unlike the tons of bonuses and promos you find at other online sites.

Now, there ARE potentially some promotional features for the futures trading product such as:

  • Referral program.
  • Potential deposit bonus for your first deposit.
  • Trader Points system.

The downside here is that I didn’t really see that any of these features were relevant or usable for the prediction trading exchange. Still, they might add bonuses and features in time, so make sure you check this Plus500 review for updates.

Conclusion - I’m already a big Plus500 fan

I thoroughly enjoyed creating this Plus500 review and believe it will go on to become one of the better US prediction trading exchanges. It has the backing, features, and reputation of the Plus500 brand to build on, and this has allowed it to create a smart, professional, and robust prediction trading exchange that rivals its competitors.

It’s not perfect though, and I really want to see a few promos added - even if it’s something simple like a signup trading bonus or a trading rewards program. There could also be a little more info shown for the individual predictions such as price graphs. These things didn’t stop me from enjoying my time here though, and I would definitely recommend it, so if you want to get in on the action, feel free to use the Plus500 banners on this page now.
