Sleeper is one of the fastest-growing DFS apps in the US and I’ve been a customer here for ages. Recently though, it’s launched its Sleeper Markets section which is a P2P prediction trading feature.
I’ve been testing this part of the app and have created a full Sleeper Markets review below. I’ll explain the basic premise, look at whether the trading setup is legit or not, and also analyze the various sports prediction markets it provides. At the end, I’ll give my thoughts on how this app compares to other operators.

I only review prediction trading exchanges that are LEGIT. So, the first thing I did for this Sleeper Markets review was to see how it was regulated, and test other features like its support and security.
Sleeper prediction markets are offered by Sleeper Markets LLC - this company is registered with the CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission), and the NFA (National Futures Association). From what I can see, Kalshi actually provides prediction markets, and they are also CFTC-regulated so I had no concerns about the legitimacy of this brand.

I found the security when creating my Fanatics review to include things like SSL, so I checked for these features at Sleeper Markets too - it does indeed have an active SSL certificate, and there’s a pretty robust signup process where you have to do some initial verification. They’ve got all the docs I expect too, such as a trading fee breakdown, an explanation of how the trade contracts work, and a privacy policy.
For support, you’ve got email, a help center, and a live chat. Email response times are pretty slow, which is to be expected, but I also think the live chat response times could be better. I’ve used the live chat feature on the app multiple times now, and I usually get a reply within 10 minutes, whereas some other sites offer reply times as quick as 4-5 minutes. The main point though, is that the actual quality of support received is spot on and the human reps were always able to help with my queries.

I’ve used Sleeper for ages now, so I was already familiar with the banking setup - you should be able to use payment methods like PayPal, Bank Transfer (ACH), Venmo, and debit cards like Visa. I’ve never had any problems with its or withdrawals here, and they have a pretty flexible minimum limit setup, where you can start with as little as $1.

Usability is a top priority for me, so I tested the desktop site, and downloaded the Sleeper apps to see how user-friendly they were.
There is a desktop version of the Sleeper Markets site, but from my experience, you are better off downloading and using the mobile apps. The site works fine - I love the sleek, modern interface and style, and everything looks really smooth. On top of that, I was easily able to browse the Team Picks prediction markets, manage my account, and make payments. It’s technically sound too, with fast page speeds, and no missing content that I could see.
For me, I had a much more enjoyable time using the Android mobile app though. Both it and the iOS version have superb ratings, and you should just be able to download the single app and then have access to all of the Sleeper products including the P2P prediction trading and the DFS contests. It looks awesome, the touchscreen functionality is spot on, and I love how they’ve organized the prediction markets.
This could be the perfect app for beginners who are just starting out in sports prediction trading and want an easy way in without a steep learning curve. There’s plenty of information, and performance wise, the app always worked like lightning even on my old Samsung Galaxy.
Unlike what I found in my OG review, Sleeper Markets are currently limited to sports. It’s also important to understand the difference between the Team and Player Picks sections. Sleeper Player Picks are NOT prediction markets - they are part of the site’s DFS offering. It’s ONLY Sleeper Team Picks that are actual futures P2P predictions that you can trade.
Right now at the time I produced this Sleeper Markets review, I was ONLY able to trade team sports predictions. This included matches for the following sports:
The different types of predictions I was able to trade included team outcomes (match winners), spreads, points totals, and a few other options. I was impressed with the range of matches they covered, there was plenty of trading volume, and the actual P2P trading system and trade contracts work fine. The only pretty major downside are the limitations. In my Underdog review, for example, I found a lot more prediction markets, and then sites like Kalshi (who provide markets for Sleeper coincidentally) have entire sections dedicated to real-world predictions like politics, culture, and crypto.
Now, I have read info stating that this is just the beginning for Sleeper Markets, and that it will continue to work with Kalshi to expand its prediction trading offering. So, in time, I expect not only more sports predictions, but event predictions to be added too, and that’s when things will get really interesting.
I also wanted to take a quick look at the trading fee structure to understand my potential for returns. Sleeper Markets has a simple $0.02 set fee per executed trade contract, but this is broken into trade and exchange fees as shown below:
| Fee Type | Value | Charged By |
| Trade Fee Per Contract Executed | $0.01 | Sleeper Markets LLC. |
| Exchange Fee Per Contract Executed | $0.01 | Kalshi (DCM) |
| Total Fee Per Contract Executed | $0.02 | Combined |
While testing the Sleeper Markets app, I saw a few different potential promotions, but they were all pretty much for the DFS side of things, and at this moment in time, I didn’t find any type of signup bonus or promotions for the prediction markets section and Team Markets. Still, I’ll share with you the Player Picks signup bonus that I got, and you can also check out the banners we have on this page for more information.
If you intend to use the Sleeper Player Picks feature, then you can get a 100% deposit match bonus on your first deposit of up to $100. There’s a $10 minimum deposit limit, and you have to use the bonus funds on Sleeper Player Picks or their other DFS contests - as far as I can see, this is NOT a Sleeper Markets bonus, and thus you cannot use the bonus funds on any team predictions.
You should get your bonus funds credited within 30 days of opening your account and making your first deposit, and you have to use your bonus funds at least once on the Sleeper products before they can be withdrawn. I think this is a pretty good welcome offer, and it could be something to consider if you aren’t only interested in the Sleeper Team Picks.
It is a shame that at this moment in time, I couldn’t really find any Sleeper Markets promotions, but I didn’t have high hopes anyway. I’ve created loads more guides and prediction trading content, such as my Prizepicks review, and it’s a common trend that these peer-2-peer trading sites simply don’t offer as much in the way of bonuses and promotions unlike sportsbooks and online casinos.
I think Sleeper Markets is off to a great start and I had fun producing this Sleeper Markets review. It’s already one of the better sports prediction trading options available, and you get all the benefits of the established Sleeper setup such as the incredible mobile apps, the robust banking system, and the great security.
I can’t yet rate it as a top contender though in the wider prediction trading market - it needs to greatly expand its offering including more sports predictions, and event predictions. For now though, I would still recommend it, but more for sports fans who want to get into prediction trading and try something different other than DFS. If you fancy trying it out for yourself, just click the banners we’ve got on this page and get signed up.
Yes, Sleeper team predictions are CFTC and NFA-regulated, and offered by Kalshi - Sleeper essentially utilizes third-party prediction trading services from Kalshi, but both entities are regulated by the CFTC.
Sleeper Markets are only available to US customers over 18. I’m not 100% sure on the state availability though - the actual information regarding the team prediction markets is pretty sparse at the moment. From what I can see, trading is available in all 50 states, but you should click our banners to find out more.
Not at the moment. From my own experience, I was only ever able to trade sports team predictions which does make it a pretty limited service for now. However, I have read sources saying that over time, Sleeper will expand its prediction trading offering.
Sleeper Markets are peer-2-peer predictions for sports predictions - specifically for team predictions such as the outcome of matches, and over/under figures for total points. You buy, sell, and hold trade contracts for these predictions from other customers.
