I’ve been a longtime fan of Sleeper but for its Daily Fantasy sports products, but it now has two additional features that I’ve been itching to try, one of which is the Sleeper Markets P2P prediction trading product.
In this Sleeper Markets promo review, I’m going to look specifically at one part of this new feature - the potential bonuses and promotions for both new and existing customers. From the get go, I had a mixed experience, but you can read more about my findings below, and whether I recommend this prediction trading exchange or not.

I’ve already familiarized myself with how this site works via my Sleeper Markets review, so for this guide, it was a case of jumping straight into the promos, and what better way to start than the welcome bonus?
As I already had a Sleeper account, I had to do a little research and see what I could find regarding a welcome bonus for the Sleeper Markets section - I didn’t find anything. While in my Fanatics promo code review, I managed to get a signup bonus, Sleeper Markets had nothing. There are a few things to remember though.
Firstly, this is just one section of the overall Sleeper product offering, and it is the newest part of its site, so perhaps, things like welcome bonuses might be added in the future. From my other experiences though with prediction exchanges, welcome bonuses aren’t always common, so my expectations weren’t high in the first place.
Now, I DID see a welcome bonus for the Sleeper Player Picks section of the site/app. Player Picks at Sleeper are a type of daily fantasy product and NOT peer-2-peer prediction trading which is what I’m concentrating on in this guide. Regardless, I’ll give you the Player Picks promo info anyway:
The terms and conditions are pretty simple from what I can understand. The $20 free play can be used on any of the Player Picks over/under markets, and you can only use it once - after making your play, the free play bonus is gone, and you just get to keep any potential returns you get from it. The 100% deposit match is for your first deposit only, and it is my understanding that you can only use the bonus funds on the Sleeper Player Picks markets - NOT the Sleeper Team Picks which are the prediction markets.
I like this bonus, but I’d like it more if it was also available for the Sleeper Markets Team Picks.
In contrast to what I found in my OG bonus review, I didn’t really find any promotions for existing traders at Sleeper Markets. From my impression, this section of the site is still very much in development, and as of yet, promotions seem like an afterthought. Also though, it’s important to have context.
Sleeper Markets is essentially a trading exchange - these sites are NOT commonly known for offering multiple different bonuses - you might get a signup offer or a referral scheme and that’s pretty much it from my experience. So, while there isn’t a Sleeper Markets promo code or welcome bonus, this is in-line with my expectations anyway.
As I mentioned above, Sleeper Player Picks and Sleeper Team Picks are actually two different things. Sleeper Player Picks are a DFS service where you can make over/under picks based on baselines set by Sleeper. In contracts, Sleeper Markets/Sleeper Team Picks is a peer-2-peer prediction trading service. There are no odds, and it’s not a DFS product.
With the Sleeper Team Picks, you buy/sell, and hold trade contracts with a base value of $1 relating to different sports team predictions, such as, “Who will win between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs?”. Basically, when you make a Team pick, you are placing a buy order on the Sleeper P2P exchange - your order won’t be fulfilled until another customer “takes” your order.
Once your order has been taken, you can either try and sell your trade contracts for a return, or hold them until the sporting event happens. When the event happens, if you got the prediction right, your trade contracts are considered to have settled in-the-money, and you will get a $1 return for each one. However, if you got the prediction wrong, you get zero return. It’s important to understand the difference between these two products as they both offer a contrasting experience and completely different outcomes.
Like I did in my Underdog bonus review, after looking at the Sleeper Markets promos (or lack of), I wanted to write down some fast facts that I found useful when using the site and getting used to the sports prediction trading experience.
As there is no house edge, and no line set by Sleeper when it comes to the Team Pick predictions, they utilize a set fee structure instead. This is how prediction trading exchanges commonly work, and I also saw the same in my Prizepicks promos review. Sleeper Markets uses a simple fee structure with a set exchange and trading fee, which amounts to $0.02 per trade, I’ve given a full breakdown in the table below:
| Fee Type | Value | Charged By |
| Trade Fee Per Contract Executed | $0.01 | Sleeper Markets LLC. |
| Exchange Fee Per Contract Executed | $0.01 | Kalshi (DCM) |
| Total Fee Per Contract Executed | $0.02 |
Compared to other prediction exchanges I’ve tested, this is in-line with my expectations and from my experience trading the Team Picks here, you still have plenty of room for potential returns with both buying/selling, and holding your trade contracts.
The reason there aren’t any Sleeper Markets promos could also be due to the relatively limited selection of available predictions. I get the impression that the prediction exchange part of Sleeper still has room to grow, and I expect it to explode in the future with heaps of other markets - including event prediction for real-world things like politics.
Right now, when I tested this site and created my Sleeper Market promo review, I was only able to buy and sell trade contracts for sports predictions. These included the NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, and soccer. There is a good selection, and I had fun trading the different NBA predictions for the upcoming Conference Finals which were live at the time.
I will be interested to see what other markets they add in the future.
The desktop version of the Sleeper Markets site works great, but I was most impressed with the downloadable mobile apps. These are available for both Android and iOS from the Play Store and App Store respectively. They have excellent ratings, and I’ve personally tried the Android version on my Samsung phone. It works great, has a smooth and stylish interface, and allows you to easily navigate the different Team Picks prediction markets.
The KYC process and security for this site are great, which made me more confident about using any bonuses if/when they eventually appear. When you go through the registration process, you’ll have to complete some initial verification which can include your email and/or SMS depending on your state. Additionally, before I could make any payments here, I had to do the full KYC check. This involves uploading a valid copy of a photo ID, and taking a selfie so that your likeness can be checked.
After completing this Sleeper Markets bonus review, I had mixed feelings. On the one hand, the actual Team Picks prediction trading service is excellent, and I was impressed with the range of trade contracts you can buy, the trade volume, and the simple feel structure they use. However, on the other hand, the only real signup bonus I found was not usable for Team Picks, but instead, for the Sleeper Player Picks DFS product.
I think you can still get great use out of this 100% deposit match bonus though - you just have to realize that you shouldn’t be able to use the bonus funds to buy team predictions with. You can check out the banners we have here though to see what other Sleeper promos there are for your state, and you can click any of them to get signed up.
I was NOT able to get a Sleeper Markets new user promo. I signed up to the Team Picks section and I only ever saw the signup bonus for the Player Picks part of Sleeper Markets, which, from my experience, is NOT P2P trading, but a DFS product.
Yes. Despite the seeming lack of promotions that I encountered, this is a legitimate prediction exchange. The Sleeper Team Picks are provided by Kalshi, which is a CFTC-regulated exchange, and Sleeper is also a CFTC-regulated exchange, so you have two layers of regulations.
Anyone from the US who is over 18 can legally sign up to trade Sleeper Team Picks. There might be state restrictions though, but you can look at the banners on this page which should show any regional bonuses and whether you can sign up or not.
No. I did NOT find a Sleeper Markets no deposit bonus. Depending on your location though, you might be able to get a $20 free entry and a 100% deposit match bonus for the Sleeper Player Picks feature which is a DFS product and NOT a prediction market product.
These are prediction markets for sporting events and you can buy and sell trade contracts for those predictions, depending on what you think the outcome of the prediction will be. You can then try and sell your trade contracts for more than you bought them for, or hold them and try to settle them in-the-money.
