The following NBA video of the final moments in the 4th quarter and OT from Monday’s Cavs and Wizards game (of the year) is missing one very important moment: Down by one with six seconds left in regulation, LeBron James got away with a travel then missed a point-blank layup. The jaw-dropping miss was only topped by LeBron redeeming himself three seconds later by catching a Tom Brady-ish pass from Kevin Love, turning around and banking in a lucky three to put the heart-attack inducing game into OT.
“LeBron made a heck of a shot,” Said John Wall, who finished the game with 22 points and 12 assists. “that you probably make one in a million times.”
LeBron also fouled out early in the extra session, which opened the doors for Kyrie Irving to go into Curry-Killer mode and knock down two impressive clutch shots after missing 16 of his first 22 shots.
The Cavs would go on to win the game 140-135. James finished the night with 32 points and a career-high 17 assists. Kevin Love had 39 points and 12 boards and Bradley Beal scored 41 in a losing effort.
