Rudy Gay impresses in home debut with the Kings – 26 points 5 rebounds and 4 steals

Rudy Gay had an impressive home debut with the Kings on Sunday, scoring 26 points, grabbing 5 boards and dishing out 4 assists while coming away with 4 steals.   The royal night ended with a hug from DeMarcus Cousins and a standing ovation from the crowd as he walked to the bench near the end of a 106-91 victory over the Houston Rockets.

His 26 point game last night and Kings debut of 24 points on Friday marked the only two games this season that Gay has scored over 20 points  while making 50% of his shots.  He was averaging 20 points a game while shooting 40% in Toronto.

With the underrated Isaiah Thomas at point, arguably the most talented big man in the league at center, impressive rookie McLemore, and new additions Derrick Williams and Rudy Gay, the Kings could turn into a very scary team in the very near future.
