Now this is what you call a revenge game!
Former Thunder forward Serge Ibaka was back in town and dominated his former team with a career-high 31 points, including a game-winning shot over Steven Adams.
“I’m not going to lie to you,” said Ibaka, who was 13 of 19 from the field and a perfect 2 of 2 from 3 and 3 of 3 from the free throw line. “it felt good.
“Coach called my name, and I was ready. I work on my shot every night and every summer, so I was just ready to make a play.”
Most of the defensive damage by Ibaka came during the 1st quarter, when he put up 13 points, 6 of his 9 rebounds and all 4 of his blocks as the Magic outscored the Thunder 27-13.
“He had a special performance,” Magic coach Frank Vogel said. “A night I’m sure he’ll remember for the rest of his career.”
