Playing in front of his father, Steph Curry lit up the Hornets (again) for 39 points with 11 3-pointers in just three quarters on Wednesday night. He also chipped in with 8 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 ankle breaker in his 30 minutes.
“It’s always cool to see my dad on the sidelines commentating the game on their end,” Curry said. “You get a little juice from that, too. … I don’t take those opportunities for granted because this an unbelievable opportunity to play the game that he played for 16 years in the NBA and carry on that name in the league.”
This performance was the Chef’s 8th career game with 10 made 3-pointers in the NBA. The only other players with multiple games with 10 threes are Klay Thompson (3) and J.R. Smith (3).
