Steph Curry deserves more praise off the court for his work with the Nothing But Nets program that provides bed saving nets to families in Africa than he does for his amazing work on-the-court for the Warriors and that’s saying a lot. He also deserves some off the court credit for not following the paths of most marketable athletes. He left Nike to join Under Armour and now he’s joining John Cena, Gabrielle Douglas and David Ortiz by signing with Capri Suns and participating in the Capri Sun’s Kids vs Pros Playground Throwdown.
To promote the contest and it’s new Roarin Waters drink, Capri Suns put out a series of commercials showing the Pros doing their best “roarin butt face jam” celebration dance. Here’s Steph’s dance.
As amusing as this celebration was, it doesn’t compete with his no-high-five-for-Dryamond dance he did while torching the New York Knicks.
Actually, I think Capri Suns should hire the entire Golden State Warriors, especially Kent Bazemore, to do a “roarin butt face jam” commercial.
