I still don't understand why Thad Young is taking less than 10 shots a game for the Pacers but the Pacers are glad he took their final shot against the (winner of three straight!) Wizards on Monday night. Marcin Gortat, not so much.
Young finished this night with 12 points on 5 of 9 shooting to go with 11 boards and the game winner. For the season, he's averaging over 20 points a game when he attempts more than 10 shots, which includes a 9 of 13 (24 points) game and a 10 of 13 (24 points) performance in the past month.
So what i'm saying is, can Thad get a few more shots?
