The Jordan Flight Truck has been running through Los Angeles this entire month hitting up all the local spots to show off the newly released CP3.VI, the signature shoe of Clippers’ All-Star Point Guard Chris Paul. Every location Jordan Brand has traveled to has been filled with basketball enthusiasts, local sneakerheads, and Chris Paul fanatics. The Flight Truck rolled through many parks, schools, and retail stores on the Westside and Southbay of LA as fans were able to trial the CP3.VI via a skills challenge. Everyone seemed to love the shoes, and many fans described the shoe as “light, comfortable, and perfect for basketball.”
This past weekend, Jordan Brand partnered with local retail stores, WSS and UNDFTD, to give all sneaker lovers a chance to test out the CP3.VI. While at WSS, everyone from grandparents to kids were excited to win CP3 gear that included a pair of the CP3.VI in an exclusive colorway. At UNDFTD (Undefeated, INC.) in Silverlake, plenty of sneakerheads came out to see what all the hype was about. The shoes did not disappoint as everyone truly loved the “Nitro Pack” with their high energy colorways. The “Nitro Pack” is only available exclusively in Los Angeles currently.
On Monday, the Flight Truck went to Mater Dei High School, a national powerhouse in high school basketball. Jordan Brand set up shop and gave the teams a chance to wear-test the shoes on the hardwood. The Flight Truck team gave the lowdown on the CP3.VI as they described every detail from the structure and design of the shoe to Chris Paul’s customization all over. The teams gave their approval of the CP3.VI as they loved the traction and feel of the shoes.
Tuesday the flight truck stopped by South Gate HS and Sally’s Shoes. Yesterday they were at Bell Gardens HS and Rosewood Park in the City of Commerce, and Friday they are headed to Long Beach Poly. After Long Beach Poly, the truck will be attending Loyola Marymount University’s Midnight Madness to let all the fans try out the CP3.VI. On Saturday, Jordan Brand will be anchored at Men’s Land for the Taste of Soul Festival, one of the biggest street fairs in Los Angeles, giving more people the chance to win CP3 gear. The Flight Truck’s grand finale will be at CP3 Day this coming weekend at the LA Fire Academy which is open to all. The day will consist of trailing, music, food and more. Here’s the official flyer for this Sunday.
