This looks bad. Not Blue Chips bad but Steel, Good Burger and Kazaam bad. Just like the four movies I just mentioned, Shaq is in this one too.
Here’s the official summary of the film
When Brian, a hopelessly uncoordinated young fan magically switches talents with his basketball hero (NBA Superstar Kevin Durant, playing himself), he becomes the star of his high school team…while Kevin Durant suddenly can’t make a shot to save his life. But with the playoffs approaching, Brian learns that being a true winner involves working hard at your own game, and he tries to make things right in time to prevent a catastrophic end to his hero’s season.
My summary is Hollywood tries to capitalize off of KD’s popularity and bring back the body switching comedies that dominated the 80s. These body flipping movies always suck and I expect the same from this especially when you have the director of “Malibu’s Most Wanted, Big Momma’s House 2” & “Deck the Halls” directing. Love KD but I’m not going to show any love for this.
