Trevor Ariza, Teammates Waited Outside Mavs Locker Room To Confront Salah Mejri Over Disrespectful Family Comments

Eight technicals and two flagrant fouls were called during the Rockets 123-107 win over the Mavs on Tuesday. But the real drama reportedly happened after the game, when Trevor Ariza and a couple of teammates waited outside the Mavs locker room for Salah Mejri. Security made sure the center and Ariza didn't continue their end of the 3rd quarter confrontation, which led to Ariza being ejected after picking up two techs.

According to Rockets beat writer Jonathan Feigen, Mejri made comments about Ariza's wife and kids. Rockets' commentator Matt Bullard confirmed this and tweeted, "that shit has no place in the NBA. You have disgraced yourself and your team."

Although the Rockets never got to have a word with Mejri, they had plenty to say to the media and on Twitter about the Mavs "disrespectful" and "unprofessional" play.

JAMES HARDEN

"I don't know what they were on tonight. That other team was tripping tonight. They were disrespectful, were unprofessional players and coaches. I don't know what was their problem, but I think that got us going. They wanted to throw a little cheap shot and just woke us up a little bit, and it was over from there."

PATRICK BEVERLEY (VIA TWITTER)

"What we experienced today as a team. Was the upmost disrespect. And total disrespect to Us and the GAME OF BASKETBALL...Still got the W tho"

Beverley also yelled the following at Coach Rick Carlisle after the game: ""Don't be mad at us, coach! Way to be an icon, coach! Have a nice season, coach!"

ERIC GORDON

"We're still out trying to win, however it goes on. They did too much talking on the other team, way too much talking and when the game is already won, the only way they can try to get into the game is try to get the refs involved to try to create chaos. It's good we got a good win and moved on."
