The Grantland Network released this cool video of the Venice Beach League Dunk Contest and asked if it was “better than the NBA Dunk Contest?”  Well, pretty much every dunk contest outside of the NBA that has happened over the past couple of years has been better than the NBA dunk contest so that’s not saying much.

This dunk contest contained dunk vets that you are probably used to seeing on Ballislife like Mike Purdie, Werm and Sir Issac (Grantland, you misspelled all 3 of the dunker’s names). Purdie came out with the victory  with a dunk over the hood of a car that’s also much better than the one we saw in a NBA dunk contest.
