The 2 x Dunk champ might be known for his dunks but Zach LaVine is on the verge of becoming a big time scorer in the league with the potential to be a 3-point threat.
On Wednesday night, LaVine's potential was on display as he stayed hot after his 10 of 15 (28 points) performance against the Suns, tied his career-high in 3s (6) and scored 28 vs the Grizzlies; 14 of those 28 came in the opening quarter, where the Wolves outscored the Grizzlies 42-25.
"When you let a guy get caught on early like that, that's a cardinal sin," said defensive wiz Tony Allen, who guarded Zach on many of those 28 points.
LaVine was 6 of 10 from downtown against Allen and the Grizzlies and is now 10 for his last 18 from 3.
