5’11 Freshman guard Hyron Edwards from East Chicago Central HS (East Chicago, IN) has become a top recruiting priority for several Big Ten schools, with recent offers from Indiana and Purdue.
ESPN just ranked him 12th overall player in Class of 2015.
Edwards is known for his excellent ball handling and passing skills. Because of his extreme quickness, defenders have difficulty staying in front of him.
Enjoy these highlights from East Chicago’s regular season meetings with Chicago Orr (top 60 2014 Tyquone Greer) and Lake Central (Michigan-commit Glenn Robinson).
East Chicago Central's 2007 4A State Championship team was led by E'Twaun Moore, now with the Boston Celtics.
