The "40th Best Player in the League" scored a game-high 26 and led the Lakers to a comeback victory in Sunday's preseason game vs the Utah Jazz.

Kobe did miss 15 of 22 shots from the field but only 2 from the free throw line after missing 6 in his last game.

"It was a personal challenge to try not to miss six free throws," he said. "I wound up missing two, not six. Next game will be zero."

"I think each game he's just getting a little bit stronger," Coach Byron Scott said. "He's feeling a little bit more comfortable and confident. So hopefully in the next week and a half he'll be pretty close to where we want him to be."
