Zion Williamson Puts On An Air Show (in Air Jordan Bred 1s) On The Eve Of His College Commitment

On the eve of finding out which college is going to win the Zion Williamson sweepstakes, the high-flying McDonalds All-American made his return to the court and put on a show in front of packed crowd that included NBA2K"s Rachel DeMita and former NBA poster maker and All-Star Baron Davis.

Zion, wearing a pair of Air Jordan Bred 1s (with Adidas socks), finished with 34 points and 9 rebounds as the Griffins beat cross town rival Shannon Forest Christian 80-59 on homecoming night. 12 of those 34 points came on crowd-satisfying dunks.

He will announce his college decision on Saturday at 8PM ET from Spartanburg Day School. He's down to Clemson, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina and South Carolina. My bet is he takes Clemson (UPDATE: He signed with Duke).

I'm also betting he signs with Adidas after college, even though he was wearing Jordans in this game.

BARON DAVIS ON ZION

“He is a super talented player, can pass, had a nice touch, and I love the way he uses his teammates and makes them better,” Davis said. “He plays for the crowd, plays for his teammates and plays to win, so I think he is going to be good.”

Davis also compared Zion to his former Hornets teammate Jamal Mashburn.
