During the Nike “Hoop Heroes Tour” in Germany in 1997 Charles Barkley, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen & co end up playing against a 17 year old Dirk in a game where Nowitzki apparently dropped 52 on Pippen. Barkley said he was so impressed with Nowitzki that he tryied to recruit him to attend Auburn.
