James Harden Drops 42, Confronts Heckler Accusing Him Of Flopping In Drew League Playoffs

Will James Harden win back-to-back championships at the Drew League?

Last year, the Beard scored a game-high 37 points to help Team LAUNFD win their 4th championship in 6 years. This past weekend, the Beard was an unstoppable statistical beast with a near triple-double on Saturday and 42 points, 6 boards, 4 assists and 3 steals in a Sunday win against Team Spirit to advance to championship weekend.

The most interesting stat Harden had on Sunday was scoring 27 points in the first half on just 7 shots. The reason being is he made a living at the free-throw line, which didn't sit well with a sideline heckler (the Drew's version of Robin Ficker), who kept accusing Harden of flopping. When James went over to the heckler to ask him what's flopping, the fan hilariously replied, "Hell naw James. He hit you. C'mon man. Be honest, we boy scouts."

Neither Harden or the fan got a tech for the friendly exchange but Harden was given a tech for this push.

Team LAUNFD will take on the undefeated BB4L next Saturday at LA Southwest college at 1pm. The winner of that game will take on the winner of the Redemption vs Juglife (with Nick Young and JaVale McGee) game.
