Lefty guard Monty Johal is a Scoring Machine with Nice Handles!

Versatile 6'3, 10th grade guard Monty Johal is more than just an explosive scorer (25 PPG).
With his unorthodox-looking shot, the lefty guard is one of the Midwest's most exciting and electrifying talents.
Whether it's with Springfield Glendale HS (Missouri) or Yanders Law AAU, you'll see Johal is his team’s engine, dominating both ends of the floor, scoring, rebounding, stealing and blocking shots.
Johal scores in a variety of ways (25 PPG). He can shoot the 3, he uses his athleticism to get to the rim, and he has a mid-range game.
Having scored 1056 points in 2 years of high school basketball, Johal is 469 points from his school's scoring record. He scored 724 points this season (2nd highest season scoring total in school history).
Monty's season high was 41, becoming just the second GHS player in history to score 40 or more in a game and he never scored fewer than 15 in a game.
Currently, Johal holds 2 D1 scholarship offers from Jackson State and UW-Milwaukee, but we expect the list to grow during AAU season.
Check out these highlights from 43rd Annual Harold Thomas Interstate Basketball Classic (Coffeyville, KS) where Monty Johal scored 35 points in a game and was named "Most Inspirational Player" and from Baylor Basketball's Nike Summer Jam near Chicago.
