On Sunday Fairfield visited NC State for what, ended up being, a high scoring match-up. NC State won 99-78 but Fairfield fought back throughout the entire game. For the Wolfpack, it was the usual suspects of Dennis Smith Jr & Terry Henderson. Henderson finished with 25 points, 7 rebounds & 3 assists while Smith finished with 17 points, 9 assists & 5 rebounds. This was the second game for freshman big-man Omer Yurtseven and his presence was felt in this one. On top of his 12 point, 6 rebound night, Yurtseven opened the floor for State's incredibly talented back-court.
