Check out highlights of the no. 1 ranked junior, Vernon Carey Jr., at the 2017 John Wall Holiday Invitational! Carey Jr. and his University school team was fresh off a City of Palms championship as they came into Raleigh with a target on their chest! Although they were taken to the wire in the semi-final matchup, the Sharks were able to pull it out and win the National Bracket over Hillcrest University. Carey Jr. stated he will be cutting his list down to 3/4 schools here soon and I think it’s safe to say UNC and Duke will be making the cut. Both schools had their head coaches in attendance during the tournament.
