17-year old Wilt Chamberlain catching a shot & running the fast break

Wilt Chamberlain

It's been almost 15 years since the passing of the great Wilt Chamberlain. 41 years since his last game with the Lakers and 55 since he suited up for the Harlem Globetrotters. While most legends fade away over the years as younger generations dismiss pioneers for accomplishments in weaker and less documented eras, Wilt is the rare legend who seems to become even more legendary as more stories and video surface showcasing his amazing athletic ability.

The latest video to wash ashore from the archives of the Wilt Chamberlain Archive shows a 17-year old Wilt catching a shot, starting a fast break, throwing a Jason Williams type pass and then scoring on an alley-oop play.

Equally crazy is seeing how athletic the teenage beast was at the age of 50!
