Best 2-Sport High School Athlete? Jalen Suggs is Ultimate DUAL THREAT! NY2LA Recap!
Jalen Suggs is considered one of the top high school basketball players in the Class of 2020 (Top 3?).
The 6’4 Minnesota 16 year old is also an elite football player, recently picking up an offer from Nebraska.
We caught Suggs in action at NY2LA’s Swish N Dish as he warmed up for Under Armour Association play.
Suggs played great against top competition including Mac Irvin Fire (EYBL) and Illinois Wolves (UA).
When he wasn’t finding his open teammates, Suggs was able to get to the basket (and the free throw line).
Not unlike a football safety, Suggs is a tenacious defender with a nose for the ball.
Last summer on the Under Armour circuit, Suggs averaged 17.8 points and 6.3 points a game while playing up 2 age groups.
Suggs won a Gold Medal with the USA Basketball U16 team this past summer.
Check out these raw highlights from a few of Suggs’ Grassroots Sizzle team’s games at Swish N Dish.
