In Episode 1 of Cook it and Book it Podcast presented by Ballislife, meet the hosts: Sara Jane Gamelli and Looch, as they introduce themselves and give insight into what you can expect in the Cook it and Book it Podcast. Both SJ and Looch break down their betting styles, and which sports they follow most.
Next they break down the NFL Divisional Weekend, recapping the games and their best bets. For the AFC, the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Houston Texans 34-10. The Ravens proved why they have the best defense in the league, shutting out Houston 24-0 in the second half.
For the NFC Divisional, the No. 1 seed San Fransisco 49ers hosted the Green Bay Packers at home. Largely considered underdogs by -9.5, the Packers nearly beat San Francisco. Jordan Love showcased his full potential and his importance to the Green Bay offense. For the 49ers, they continued to dominate the running game.
The first time since 1991, the Detroit Lions are headed back to the NFC Championship. This time, defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-23. SJ breaks down all of her bets that did very well, including a 4-leg parlay that she hit. The Lions playoff run is very exciting, can they make it all the way this year?
The Kansas City Chiefs took care of business on the road, defeating the Buffalo Bills 27-24. Buffalos special teams and defense made costly errors, which ultimately cost them the game. One of the best to play the quarterback position, Patrick Mahomes will make his 6th straight AFC Championship appearance.
Up next, SJ and Looch talk about the updated Super Bowl Odds. The 49ers are favored to win it all at +145. Underdogs, the Lions have +750 odds to win their first Super Bowl.
Switching gears to the NBA, SJ and Looch discuss their NBA Bets from the night before. From here, SJ dives into Props.Cash, a tool that she uses to make her bets on a nightly basis (40:00). They take a deep dive into the NBA, where there's been a ton of breaking news. Both discuss and analyze the Terry Rozier trade, and how it impacts the Miami Heat and the way we bet on player props.

ESPN Analyst Doc Rivers was reported to become the newest head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks. At the time of recording the news was not official. Upon finishing the podcast, the news was made official. With Doc Rivers the head coach of the Bucks, can he get them over the hump? Will their defense improve? Can they compete with top rivals in the Eastern Conference. Both SJ and Looch break down the move and the firing of former Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin.
