6'7 DJ Williams (Chicago Simeon 2015) and 6'5 Brandon Hutton (Chicago De La Salle 2015) were the clear standouts at the 2013 Elite Academic Showcase held at the Lake Barrington Fieldhouse in Lake Barrington, IL, but they were not alone.
6'9 Sean O'Mara (Benet Academy 2014) dominated around the rim and showed why he's one of Illinois' premier HS big men. Chicago St Rita HS was well-represented by senior to be guard Dominique Matthews and juniors to be Charles Matthews (in limited action) and Armani Chaney. 6'6 Ben Coupet (Chicago Simeon 2016) stood out with his energetic play at both ends, finishing with numerous dunks.
