Well, surprise, surprise, surprise! On Sunday night, LaMelo and LiAngelo Ball led their Los Angeles Ballers team to a 131-121 victory over the Seattle Ballers in the first-ever championship game of LaVar Ball's JBA league.

Gelo won MVP of the game after scoring a game-high 58 points (24-53 FG, 7-16 3PT) to go with 11 boards and six assists. The 58 tied the league-high total he set two playoff games ago but wasn't a big surprise since he averaged a league-leading 50 a game during the season...and HE TOOK 53 SHOTS!

Melo flirted with another triple-double with 34 points (10-23 FG, 7-16 3PT), 15 boards and 9 assists with 11 turnovers. This also wasn't too surprising since he led the league in assists (11) and turnovers (6.5).

As a reward for passing the ball to Gelo and rebounding a lot of missed shots, each member of the championship team was given a 2018 Cadillac ATS Sedan. Nice!

LaVar also announced he's taking the 10 best players from the league (his sons and eight other guys you aren't familiar with even though two other players in the league averaged 30 points a game) on a worldwide tour, where I'm hoping they play better competition than 15-year-old Chinese kids that faced
