6'3 Da’Monte Williams (Peoria Manual 2017) is the son of former Illinois star (2001 Big Ten POY) and 1998 Illinois Mr. Basketball and McDonald's All-American, Frank Williams. The four-star, strong, long, athletic 2017 combo guard is widely considered a top 50 player nationally and one of the top HS players in Illinois.
With a great deal of upside and a terrific feel, Da'Monte's game is described as beging reminiscent of his father's, but Frank was more of a point guard. While not known as a scorer, Da'Monte scored 37 points in Manual's dramatic Pontiac Holiday Tournament semifinal win over Joliet West in December. Check out our raw highlights from that game on Ballislife Midwest youtube channel.
Following in his father's footsteps, this season Da'Monte committed to play college basketball in the Big Ten at Illinois.
Check out Da'Monte Williams' first Ballislife mixtape covering highlights from his junior season at Peoria Manual HS and Mac Irvin Fire (AAU).
