Those are the words from Nike and Colin Kaepernick in one of the most controversial and viral ad campaigns in recent memory. In less than three days, his tweet has generated over 350,000 retweets and his Instagram post has over 1 million likes and 63,000 comments. ESPN sports business reporter Darren Rovell's original tweet about the campaign reached over 22.6 million people and is his most retweeted and liked tweet.
The campaign has also generated way too many online arguments between extremists, racists, keyboard gangsters and people who apparently have a lot of spare time. It's also led to an amusing video of a guy ending up in the hospital because he burned his Nike shoes...while still wearing them. But, by far, the most amusing thing to come from the campaign are the parody Nike ads like this Kobe one by Grant Goldberg of Silver Screen and Roll.

Most people appreciated the humor, but since it's 2018, a few people got offended and complained we were mocking a serious and inspirational movement. My response is "Laugh at something. Just Do It!"
