Player Props:

Boston Celtics

Jayson Tatum Over 4.5 Assists.

Jayson Tatum may be in a slump shooting wise; however, he’s had his fair share of rebounds and assists in this series. Tatum has 11 Assists in the last 2 games and hit 5 assists in four of the five games against the 76ers. In addition, Jayson Tatum averages 6 Assists at the Wells Fargo Center this Post Season, and 6.3 Assists against Philadelphia this season. Although Tatum drives to the basket, and finds himself in trouble at times, he can find the open man with his athleticism.

Boston is facing elimination, and shot only 31 Percent from the Three, and 39 percent from the field last game. I expect Boston to shoot better this game, and for Tatum to find the open man. If Al Horford can space the floor, expect Tatum not only to score, but to drive and kick out to the open player. In addition, he averages 4.9 Assists on the road this season, and Tatum’s rate for 4.5 Assists is 50 % this season. Give me Tatum OVER 4.5 Assists.

Jayson Tatum Over 29.5 Points

It was hard for me to pick this given Tatum is struggling, especially with his shooting. However, I can’t forget Tatum’s 46 Point Performance against the Milwaukee Bucks in last year’s NBA playoffs to force Game 7.

Tatum hit over 30 points, including Game 1 and Game 5. Although Jayson Tatum struggled in the beginning of the last game, he finished with 27 Shots Attempted, and 36 Points. In addition, he shot 3-11 from the Three. If he is cold from downtown this game, I fully expect him to drive to the lane, draw fouls like last game, and adjust his game based off potential struggles.

Jayson Tatum finished with 24 Points in Game 4, and 27 points in Game 3. He also struggled in those games, shooting a combined 4-17 from the Three.

Tatum averaged 30.1 Points in the regular season, and only 21 Points against the 76ers. In addition, he’s averaging 26.9 Points Per Game in the Post Season, and 28.6 points on the road.

I think Tatum and Brown will carry the Celtics tonight. It’s hard to envision Tatum shooting less than he did last game. I fully expect him to play and shoot better given it is an elimination game. This year, Tatum’s under hit rate for 30.5 Points is 49 Percent. Give me Jayson Tatum OVER 29.5 Points.

Jaylen Brown Over 5.5 Rebounds

NBA Analyst Doris Burke said it the best, “I think Jaylen Brown has closed the gap a little bit in terms of the difference level between he and Jayson Tatum. (@GetupESPN).

There’s no reason not to trust Jaylen Brown here. Although he struggled last year, especially with turning the ball over, Brown is playing good basketball. Brown grabbed 6 Rebounds last game, and 16 in the last Three Games. Embiid only had 7 Rebounds last game, and it will be important for Al Horford to space the floor and pull Joel Embiid out of the paint. This gives opportunities for guys like Brown and Tatum to grab the boards.

Even though Jaylen Brown is 6’6, he’s shown he’s been able to grab boards game after game. Brown averaged 6.6 Rebounds this season, 6.9 Rebounds on the road, and 5.2 in the Post Season. Although Jaylen Brown only averaged 3 Rebounds against Philadelphia this season, he’s been aggressive, especially down below this series. With the season on the line, I like Jaylen Brown OVER 5.5 Rebounds.

Philadelphia 76ers

Tyrese Maxey Under 2.5 Threes

We’ve seen how valuable Tyrese Maxey is to the 76ers in the last playoffs and this year. He’s averaging 20 points Per Game both in the regular season and the Playoffs. In addition, Maxey is shooting 41.4 Percent from the Three in the Playoffs, and 38.2 Percent in Home Games. In his last 10 games, Maxey is averaging 22.3 Points, and 53 Percent from the Three.

Maxey had a monstrous 30 Points in Game 5, and 26 Points in Game 1. Maxey shot an impressive 6-12 from the Three last game, 2-6 in Game 4, and 3-9 in Game 3. In addition, Maxey added more than 2.5 threes in 3 out of the 4 games against the Brooklyn Nets. However, in Games 2-4 against the Celtics, Maxey shot under 35 Percent from the Three in all those games. Overall, Tyrese Maxey only hit over 2.5 Three Pointers in 2 of the 5 games against Boston.

Tyrese Maxey’s under hit rate is 55 Percent, and I think Boston will play tight defense, especially in an elimination game. The Celtics will have to pick up on screens and prevent Maxey from shooting off the screens and in the corner. I Like Tyrese Maxey UNDER 2.5 Threes.

PJ Tucker Over 4.5 Rebounds

PJ Tucker is a great defensive acquisition for the 76ers. Tucker has playoff experience and is, as all seasoned sports bettors know, an NBA Playoffs Veteran. In 4 regular season games against Boston, Tucker averaged 6.5 Rebounds Per Game, and is averaging 4.5 boards at home. In addition, PJ Tucker averages 5.2 Rebounds in the Playoffs.

PJ Tucker grabbed 7 Rebounds in Game 5, 4 in Game 2, and 5 in Game 1. Of course, Joel Embiid was out for Game 1. Also, when Tucker plays over 32 minutes against Boston in this series, he hits that 4.5 rebound mark. Although PJ Tucker’s over hit rate is only 37 percent, I expect him to be a defensive presence in Game 6. I like PJ Tucker OVER 4.5 Rebounds.

James Harden OVER 20.5 Points

James Harden is one of the best guards to shoot the Three Point Shot, especially step back threes. He’s won games for the 76ers this Series, and other times he’s been hardly a factor.

Harden Scored 45 points in Game 1, and 42 Points in Game 4. Harden added 17 points in Game 5, 16 in Game 3, and only 12 Points in Game 2. Although the 76ers rely on Joel Embiid, Harden is a huge asset to this team, and knocks down vital three-point shots in critical moments.

In Game 5, Harden scored 17 Points, and only attempted 8 shots. In the 40 plus games, James Harden averaged between 23 and 30 shots taken. He’s averaging 20.8 Points Per Game at home, 25.5 Points vs. Boston this Season, and 22.3 Points in the Post season. Additionally, Harden’s under hit rate is 52 % for 20.5 Points. I like James Harden OVER 20.5 Points.
