EYBL Scholastic League Teams, Schedule Announced

The Nike EYBL Scholastic League, which has been around since the 2021-22 season and in its second year under its current name, announced the competing teams for its 2025-26 league and the schedule of league games that will be hosted by showcase events around the country during the upcoming high school season.

For the 2025-26 high school season, the league will expand from 14 teams to 20 and for the first time will be broken up into two divisions, a West and East Division.

EYBL Scholastic League Breakdown

In 2024-25, Brewster Academy, CIA Bella Vista and Wasatch Academy all tied for the EYBL Scholastic regular season crown with a 9-2 mark. Montverde Academy finished in first place in the league standings in both 2022-23 and 2023-24 when it was known as the National Interscholastic Basketball Conference (NIBC). Sunrise Christian captured the 2021-22 regular season league title and Montverde Academy was crowned league champs in the first season (2020-21) the year prior to the teams officially starting a regular season slate with league standings.

Montverde Academy’s 2024 team also captured the FAB 50 National Title with an unbeaten record. League member Link Academy captured the 2023 FAB 50 crown. Full time state association members, those recognized by a high school athletics governing body or part of a league with bylaws are eligible to be FAB 50 ranked. (2025-26 FAB 50 Consideration Form)

The 2025-26 regular season with consist of 140 games, with each league team slated to play 14 regular season contests from November to March at various events across the country. The teams will play nine division games and five cross-division contests. The EYBL Scholastic season will conclude with the second annual EYBL Scholastic Conference Tournament in March. Five teams from each division, plus two at-large teams, will qualify for the conference tournament. This year’s EYBL Scholastic Conference Tournament will take place March 12-14 in Augusta, Ga.

In the inaugural EYBL Scholastic Conference tournament, Link Academy defeated four FAB 50 ranked clubs, including Long Island Lutheran, 74-71, in the championship game. Link Academy finished No. 14 in the FAB 50.
