Fall league basketball has taken itself to new heights, especially on the West Coast. Since the COVID pandemic, many players throughout the nation were left without anywhere to play during the fall and winter of 2020. While many states were shut down under state and county mandated precautions at that time, states such as Arizona were still wide open, enabling a floodgate of hoops to take place. Fast forward five years and fall basketball has become a fixture on the west coast and LA’s finest event took place two weeks ago: The HS Fall Invite.
Held at gyms throughout the City of Angels, the HS Fall Invite blended many of SoCal’s finest against some of the best prep schools on the west coast. Elite Hoops Association founder Julius Von Hanzlik, event operator Gabe Hekmatniaz and NXT Up Hoops did an amazing job of getting people in the building, too. With over 100 D-1 coaches and countless media lining the baselines, the HS Fall invite not only provided a platform for players to receive media exposure, but also to obtain D-1 Scholarships.
Having already profiled the top performers in the 2026 class, the top 2027 prospects, and the best underclassmen, this stock risers piece will wrap our extensive coverage of the 2025 HS Fall Invite:

Junior Kemm, 6’5, SG, So Cal Academy (Cal.), 2026
A native of Brazil, Kemm is new to the States but immediately showed that he could hold his own with anyone at the HS Fall Invite. The lefty is a really nice shooter who can create his own shot with limited bounces, can finish above the rim on straight line drives (especially going left), and proved capable of creating for others. While it’s still relatively early in the recruitment process for Kemm, he will undoubtedly have no shortage of high major options when its all said and done.
Jackson Kiss, 6’8, PF/C, Utah Prep (Ut.), 2026
As far as big men were concerned, there were few as productive as Kiss. The native of New Zealand was absolutely fearless in terms of looking for contact, can put the ball down on the deck against slower defenders, and controlled the glass on both ends of the court. Kiss holds a plethora of mid major offers with high major schools such as Wake Forest and Northwestern vying for his services.
Rajan Roberts, 6’1, PG, AZ Compass Prep (Ariz.), 2026
The best perimeter defender that the HS Fall Invite had to offer was undoubtedly Roberts, a super gritty lead guard. The senior put immense pressure on the rock via his super quick hands and outstanding instincts, yet also used his strength on both ends of the floor to finish through contact. Playing on a loaded AZ Compass Prep squad, it was clear that Roberts knew what his role was with the team and absolutley shined in the process of doing so.
Loucas Toukam, 6’7, PF, Bella Vista Prep (Ariz.), 2026
A man amongst boys, Toukam controlled the paint for Bella Vista Prep at the HS Fall Invite. The long armed big was an outstanding rim protector, made a number of powerful straight line drives to the rim, and showed off great footwork with his back to the basket. Toukam even stepped out to hit a pair of corner threes and if he shows that he can do that consistently, you will surely see him on a high major roster sooner rather than later.
James Turner, 6’7, PF, AZ Compass Prep (Ariz.), 2026
An absolute beast on the floor, Turner is exactly what you look for out of a high energy big. Perfectly content in his role, Turner utilizes his high end motor on both ends of the court, is a constant lob threat, and brings toughness to both ends of the floor. The Kentucky product holds nearly a dozen D-1 offers and should be an outstanding glue guy wherever he ultimately lands.
Adam Tyson, 6’7, SF, So. Cal Academy (Cal.), 2026
One prospect who has been hidden right in front of our eyes is Tyson, a versatile 6-foot-7 forward. He is an outstanding 3-point shooter from the corners, finds open areas for mid-range jumpers, and is an above the rim finisher in transition. Playing last year for Skyline Prep (AZ), Tyson is destined for a big senior year at So Cal Academy and is still wide open with his recruitment.
David Conerly, 6’7, SF, Inglewood HS (Cal.), 2027
A high upside junior, Conerly reminded everyone at the HS Fall Invite that Jason Crowe Jr. isn’t the only prospect on Inglewood’s squad. The slithery swingman plays the game at his own speed, utilizes his positional size against smaller wings, and is capable of providing another scoring punch for Inglewood once he gets going. Just starting his junior year, Conerly is still navigating the recruiting process, but has no shortage of D-1 suitors.
