Continuing onward with the regional Pangos Frosh/Soph Camps, we took in the 2025 edition of the All South version last weekend. Held in Dallas at the gorgeous Duncanville Fieldhouse, the All- South Camp blended elite positional size, big time athleticism, and some super talented players from 13 different states throughout the South. The two day event gave each player three games to showcase their talent in front of the 30 plus media members/scouts who were in the building, culminating with the Cream of The Crop Top 60 Game and Cream of The Crop Top 30 game reserved for the most productive campers.

The Pangos All South Frosh/Soph Camp has boasted a who’s who as far as NBA alumni, including the likes of De’Aaron FoxTrae YoungCade CunninghamTyrese MaxeyDerrick FavorsTerrance FergusonKeyontae GeorgeCason Wallace, and countless others.  Event founder Dinos Trigonis did an outstanding job of assembling a group of talent that will be undoubtedly adding to that list as well, including a couple of eighth graders who are already sitting atop of the rankings.

Having already taken a deep dive with the top 2029/2030 prospects as well as the 2028 standouts, we’re going to take a closer look at some of the lesser known players who helped themselves with their play at Pangos All South:

Aiden Bezenah, 6’8, SF/PF, Jenks HS (Okla.), 2028

In an interesting new development, Pangos founder Dinos Trigonis decided to promote the MVP’s of the top-60 game to the Top-30 Cream of The Crop Game, and Aiden Bezenah was one of those guys. The Oklahoma product utilized his length on both ends of the floor, shot the flights out from the perimeter, and played above rim with his athleticism in the paint. The new-age forward is able to play either forward slot with the combination of size, length, and skill to establish him as a name to watch moving forward.

Ryland “Bae Bae” Groom, 6’2, PG, Duncanville HS (Texas), 2028

One of the better lead guards that the Pangos All South had to offer was Bae Bae Groom. The two way point guard made outstanding decisions with the rock, had an elite change of pace, and exerted more effort than most on the defensive end in a camp setting. Groom already holds offers from Creighton, Murray State, Utah Tech, UNLV, and Stephen F. Austin with many more to come in the near future.

Joseph Creal III, 6’5, SG, Mansfield Summit HS (Texas), 2029

One of the best shooters in the camp, Joseph Creal III showed that he could fill it up in a hurry against anyone at Pangos All South. He is super confident letting it fly from deep, is able to put points on the floor via methodical straight line drives, and showed that he can finish above the rim on the break. Creal already holds an offer from UT-Arlington and will be receiving plenty more as the high school season goes on.

Haynes Brookhart, 6’4, SG, JJ Pearce HS (Texas), 2028

As far as sheer production was concerned, there weren’t many who offered more than Haynes Brookhart. The talented two-guard poured in at least 15 points in every game that we watched, was able to shoot off the bounce or the catch, and defended multiple positions. Having already played significant minutes with JJ Pearce on varsity last year as a freshman and with Texas Impact 4:13 on the Under Armour circuit, Brookhart is loading up for a monster sophomore campaign.

Kenny Gabriel Jr, 6’7, SF, Mansfield Legacy (Texas), 2029

There weren’t many young forwards who passed the “look test” more than Kenny Gabriel Jr. The incredibly long wing is a game changer with his length, is super fluid attacking the cup on straight line drives, and has already shown the ability to shoot it from the corners with his feet set. Set to run with Houston Hoops on the AAU circuit, “KJ” is a name bound to blow up in the Lone Star State.

Braylon Manning, 5’9, PG, Waxahachie HS (Texas), 2029

The other Co-MVP of the Top 60 game to be bumped up to the Top 30 Cream of The Crop game was Braylon Manning, a shifty guard from Waxahachie. Despite his size, Manning was able to convert in the paint amongst the trees, was a steady 3-point shooter, and created separation on just about anyone off the bounce. Manning is the next playmaker in line for a storied Dallas Mustangs AAU program.

Terrance Johnson, 6’2, PG/SG, Plano Senior (Texas), 2029

An interesting combo guard with size, Terrance Johnson is yet another product of the super talented Anthony Black Elite AAU program for the youth age groups. Johnson showed the ability to create for himself and others, put forth crazy effort on the defensive end, and exhibited his versatility playing either position. The performance that Johnson put on at Pangos All South certainly shows that he belongs with amongst the elite in a loaded DFW area freshman class.
