Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark added another milestone to her résumé Monday, becoming Nike’s newest signature athlete.

The distinction means the launch of a personal logo, an apparel line, and eventually a signature shoe — a rare achievement shared by only two other active WNBA players, A’ja Wilson and Sabrina Ionescu. Clark now joins a roster of Nike signature athletes that has included LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Serena Williams.
“Nike’s signature roster features all-time greats, and I am incredibly proud to join some of the best athletes in the world,” Clark said in a release. “I’m excited to share a first look at what we’ve started to create together.”

The logo will be front and center on a new collection of clothing and accessories. The first merchandise drop, a navy-and-yellow T-shirt, will be released Sept. 1. A full collection including hoodies, shorts, pants and premium lifestyle pieces for adults will follow Oct. 1.
Nike confirmed her first signature shoe is scheduled to debut in 2026, giving her one of the most coveted distinctions in the industry.
“To me, this is more than just a logo, it’s a dream come true,” Clark said. “People always talk about leaving your mark on the game — and this is another way I can do that.”
Nike Partnership and WNBA Impact
Clark has been aligned with Nike since 2022, but her profile rose significantly when she signed a long-term contract with the company in 2024 worth a reported $28 million. At the time, it was considered the richest sponsorship agreement ever signed by a women’s basketball player.
Monday’s announcement is viewed as the centerpiece of that partnership, positioning Clark as a face of Nike’s women’s basketball marketing push.
“Caitlin exemplifies both — an exceptional basketball player and an outstanding ambassador for the game,” Ann Miller, Nike executive vice president of global sports marketing, said in a statement. “We’re excited to take this next step together, continuing to shape this historic time for women’s basketball, and pushing the game and industry forward.”
Clark entered the league as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft. Since she’s quickly established herself as one of its brightest stars. She broke multiple records during her rookie season and finished fourth in MVP voting.
Her second season has been interrupted by injuries, limiting her to 13 appearances in 37 games. Still, she has averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, and 5.0 rebounds. The Fever hold a 19-18 record and sit third in the Eastern Conference, with her playoff availability still uncertain.
