Physically speaking, 6'7 Carteare Gordon is already a strong, powerful big man whose skills shouldn't be underestimated. His footwork, passing, and ballhandling are already superb for his age and size. He dominates the glass and he dominates the paint, period. He out works and outplays the competition, displaying his high motor at all times.
As a freshman at Vianney High School (St. Louis, MO), Gordon averaged 14.3 points, 8 rebounds, 1.5 blocks. And we expect those numbers to grow as his role expands. He started 18 of 29 games played.
With his first year of high school recently ending, Gordon holds Division 1 scholarship offers from Kansas State, Missouri and Illinois, with more to come.
