Porzingis & Knicks Respond To LeBron Saying The Knicks Should Have Drafted Dennis Smith Jr

King of trolling King James knew his comment about the Knicks making a mistake by drafting Frank Ntilikina instead of Dennis Smith Jr was going to make headlines. He even said, "that's going to be some headlines" after saying, "the Knicks passed on a really good one. Dallas got the diamond in the rough. He should be a Knick." He was right about the headlines but wrong about the rookies according to a couple not-so-happy Knicks.

A day after Enes Kanter tweeted “Nope!! We love what we got…Thanks!!!” in response to LeBron's comments, Kanter spoke to the media after a practice about them.

"I don't care who, I just cannot let anyone disrespect my family like that because when I play for an organization, I see my teammates and that organization as like a family," Kanter said. "And I doesn't matter if it's LeBron or whoever it is, I can not just let him disrespect him like that. The coaches, the GMs, the president, this organization knows what they're doing.

"I mean, come on. That's a rookie. You cannot just say anything like that about him.

Confused unicorn Kristaps Porzingis agreed with Kanter about having the "Fresh Prince" on the squad.

"I mean I don't know why he made those comments, but all I can say is we love Frank, we're happy with him," Replied Porzingis, who is averaging an equally shocking 30 points per game this season. "He's doing a great job. He's playing great, and he's doing what he's supposed to. And I would not change Frank for anybody. Simple."

Knicks coach Jeff Hornacek thought LeBron's comments could serve as motivation for the rookie.

"There will probably some bit of motivation in there, sure" Said Horny, who I can't talk about without visualizing his fight with Jerry Stackhouse or his face touching while shooting a free-throw. They're both great young players. We have Frank and Frank has done a great job for us, his abilities, the way he's grown from Day One and the things that he's worked on, we expect him to be a great player also."

The Fresh Prince himself was also asked about the comments.

"I think in life people can think whatever they want," Ntilikina said. "However, it's not gonna affect us and me so whatever is said, whatever people think, me and the team are just focused on what we're doing every day to improve and just to make us better."
