OTE Pro Day: 2026 Best of The Rest

Overtime Elite is back at it. Entering their sixth season, OTE has underwent constant expansion, now having nine teams in their league for high school-aged programs. Chipotle Nationals runner-up Dynamic Prep (Dallas, Texas) has joined the league, adding to a group of immensely talented players who are already capitalizing on their talents.

The first stop for Overtime Elite players for 2025-26 was the OTE Combine. Sponsored by Gatorade, the OTE Combine (more commonly known as OTE Pro Day) was a two day event at OTE’s state of the art facility in gorgeous Midtown Atlanta. Players were put through virtually the same exact drills they would at the NBA Combine, going through a series of drills, then wrapping things up with live 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 play.  Twenty-seven of the 30 NBA teams were in attendance, along with over 100 D1 college coaches, providing a platform for players to take their exposure to new heights.

Having already profiled Taylen Kinney, Adam Oumiddoch, and Parker Robinson, here is a deeper look at some of the other intriguing seniors from the 2025 OTE Combine:

Asher Elson, 6’11, PF/SF, Cold Hearts

One of the more intriguing long term seniors that the event had to offer, Asher Elson is the perfect hybrid forward in today’s positionless game. Owning effortless range, Elson is comfortable shooting with his feet set or in isolation situations, has outstanding touch shooting over smaller defenders, and is beginning to learn how to utilize his size more on both ends of the floor. The raw talent is certainly there for Asher, which is why schools such as Maryland and Syracuse have made him huge priorities. 

King Sanders, 6’8, PF, City Reapers

The bounciest big that OTE had to offer was King Sanders, a powerful lefty with a 41 inch vertical jump. While his game is predicated around his athleticism for the most part, Sanders showed off a reliable mid-range jumper in the drills, kept plays alive on both ends of the floor, and absorbed defenders as a lob threat. The Fayetteville native has shown flashes of his ability to create from the perimeter as well, which is why countless colleges are hot in pursuit of his talents.

Syles Clemmons, 6’0, PG, City Reapers

The most athletic guard at the OTE Pro Day showed that he has much more to his game than just his 43 inch vertical jump.  The freak athlete is a powerful playmaker who can finish at rack with either hand, displays great burst when attacking defenders, and is a reliable three point shooter off of the bounce. The Virginia Beach product committed to Utah this week, giving the Utes one of the most explosive players they’ve seen in quite some time.

Peyton Miller, 6’2.5, PG, RWE

A super steady lead guard, Peyton Miller has showed his ability to play multiple roles throughout the OTE Pro Day. A natural scorer, the City Rocks EYBL product is automatic with his mid-range jumper and is always in attack mode, yet also made some really nice reads for others when the opportunity presented itself.  Owning close to 20 D-1 offers, Miller just visited George Mason with officials to Rhode Island and Maryland lined up.

Trae Nunn, 6’4, SG/SF, City Reapers

The epitome of a power guard, Trae Nunn defied the odds and won the OTE Dream Tryout to earn a spot in Overtime Elite full time. The Texas product is a very confident shooter with serious range, has a quick release, and is near automatic with his pull-up off the bounce. The younger brother of WNBA guard Deja Kelly is a high academic player with no shortage of D-1 offers and has already began taking official visits.
