6’11 10th grader Bol Bol has been controlling both ends of the court for his AAU team KC Run GMC (in the Under Armour Association) and for Bishop Miege HS (Near Kansas City, KS) who won a basketball state title in Kansas.
With a rare combination of size, length, passing, shooting and ball-handling skills, 16 year old Bol is one of the nation’s most unique and versatile high school basketball talents. It could be argued he is his team’s top shooter, passer, rebounder, defender, shot-blocker and ball-handler (as a 6-11 10th grader). Now recognized as a top 15 player in the 2018 class, there’s no limit to where Bol can take his game. Currently holding early offers from New Mexico State, St John’s and Creighton, Bol’s list of college options will grow.
Bol who has grown up in Kansas is the son of the late Manute Bol who was a great NBA shot-blocker in the 1980s-90s as well as an activist and humanitarian who dedicated much of his post-NBA life helping people of South Sudan in Africa.
