"As a basketball person, it's great to see him back. He means something to this league. It's good for the NBA. I don't know if it's good for us" - David Blatt on the return of Rose.
Derrick Rose looked good, real good, for the Bulls in last night's match-up with the Cavs. He scored a game-high 30 points in just 24 minutes and showed flashes of brilliance but it was everybody's favorite uncle who was the real star of the show. Kyrie Irving scored 20 of his team-high 28 points in the 2nd half and led the Cavs to a 107-98 victory.
The Cavs also got 22 from Varejao, 18 from LeBron, 10 from Waiters and Thompson, and 9 points and 13 rebounds from Kevin Love. Rose didn't get as much scoring support from his teammates as Gasol and Gibson were his only 2 teammates in double-figures with 12 points a piece.
"We're not the Big 3," James said. "We're a team."
