After a strong summer on the AAU circuit with the Illinois Wolves, 6’8 junior Keita Bates-Diop established himself as a national-level, top-20 recruit (#18 ESPN, #20 Rivals).
This season, Bates-Diop led his U-High (Normal, IL) team by averaging 18.5 points and 6.4 rebounds a game.
Here are some highlights from U-High’s 2 games in the Chicago area versus eventual Illinois 3A State champs Chicago Morgan Park and eventual Ohio State runners-up St. Vincent St. Mary.
Even in this limited sample size, Bates-Diop shows his athleticism and lethal perimeter jumper for his 6’8 size (7’2 wingspan).
