The Cavs & Heat preseason OT Thriller in Brazil yesterday had it all: Drama, Comedy, Action, Horror & Romance and even a touch of Religion and Inspiration during a pregame speech by LeBron.
But before this moment and the game, we had countless preview stories (fiction or non-fiction) about the players from both camps not wanting to interact with each other.
"He's on another team," Chris Bosh said on Friday. "I think he'd understand that. I understand that. We'll have plenty of time to talk in the summer, and that's how it is now."
Even during tipoff, LeBron and his ex teammates didn't seem too happy to see each other. I understand the business mentality when it's a "real game" but this is an exhibition game in Brazil.
The Horror was actually the play of LeBron who only hit 2 of 8 shots from the field and 3 of 7 from the line in 22 minutes. James also provided the comedy when he set a screen on his new teammate, Matthew Dellavedova, for his old teammate, Norris Cole.
The action picked up later as the Heat outplayed the Cavs in the 2nd half but eventually lost by 3 in OT. For Miami, Chris Bosh led the way with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Newcomers Danny Granger and Shabazz Napier had 17 and 16 and DWade had 12 points to go with a team high 7 assists.
Then there was the Love and Romance. Not just love as in Kevin Love, who had an impressive 25 and 7 in 26 minutes, but love by LeBron and many of his ex teammates after the game.

@mchalmers15, @kingjames & @dwyanewade embrace after a great #NBAGlobalGames exhibition in Rio de Janeiro.
Like many funny recent comedies (22 Jump Street is a great example) they have more great materiel during the ending credits and the post game interview with Kevin Love & LeBron about hair was pretty classic.
I can't wait for the sequels during the regular season!
